Her Majesty the Queen

It is with sadness that Buckingham Palace announced the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, on the 8^th September 2022.

The Queen was aged 96 and reigned as the British monarch for 70 years.

A national period of mourning will follow the death of Queen Elizabeth II until the end of the State Funeral.

At Wood End Primary School:

We remain open as usual for all pupils.
We will update parents and carers once we receive information and guidance from the Department of Education.
Today (9^th September 2022), we led a whole school assembly commemorating the life of Her Majesty, the Queen.
An email was sent to all parents and carers on the 9^th September 2022.
We will be flexible and ensure all pupils are supported and listened to.
