Good behaviour is fundamental to success in the classroom for both pupils and teachers. A well-planned and delivered curriculum enables pupils to learn, ask questions, debate, and challenge themselves. Effectively and consistently managed behaviour is necessary in order to facilitate learning. At Wood End Primary School, behaviour expectations are taught, modelled and rewarded. We proactively reward all behaviour that contributes to achieving our school vision. Behaviour that is contradictory to our school values and that disrupts or disadvantages a safe, happy and successful learning environment can result in sanctions being applied.
