PE and Sport Premium

We are currently developing our Sports Premium plan to raise standards and participation levels in PE throughout the school.

We will be following the guidelines on how to spend this money, including:

hiring specialist PE teachers or qualified sports coaches to work with primary teachers when teaching PE
supporting and engaging the least active children through various clubs
paying for professional development opportunities for teachers in PE and sport
providing cover to release primary teachers for professional development in PE and sport
running sport competitions, and increasing pupils’ participation in sport
buying quality assured professional development modules or materials for PE and sport
providing places for pupils in after school sports clubs

Our initial aims are:

Raise standards in PE across the school through high quality teaching.
Raise participation levels of pupils taking part in competitive sporting activities or sports clubs.
Improve behaviour through participation in sport.
